THE TRUCKEE TAILS TEAM

LISA PURCHARD, President and CPO ("Chief Pet Officer")- Lisa brings 20 years of experience to Truckee Tails, having worked with animals in various capacities as a pet sitter, dog walker, shelter socializer, foster parent, veterinary assistant and SPCA humane education and pet-assisted therapy volunteer.  She has also worked extensively with police, Animal Control departments and City Attorneys in various municipal ordinance education and enforcement projects including the prosecution of animal cruelty cases in West Los Angeles.   Lisa has a law degree but decided that she'd rather work with animals than practice law so in December 1999 she founded Truckee Tails Pet Sitting.  Despite tremendous growth, Truckee Tails has remained a family business with Lisa owning & operating all aspects of the firm.  The business currently serves over 200 local and regional clients throughout Truckee and the Bay Area.

PAUL PURCHARD, Vice-President - Paul is a Real Estate Broker specializing in Northstar and Tahoe Donner.  He also handles all of the financial matters for Truckee Tails.  Paul has over 25 years of business experience  including restaurant management, computer programming  and web design.   Before Lisa and Paul moved to Truckee, Paul worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Los Angeles County.  See  photos of Paul and Lisas' pets.

SIMON and BURFORD, CWOs ("Chief Welcoming Officers") - Simon and Burford are the official greeters of Truckee Tails Pet Sitting and both Canine Good Citizens.  When not accompanying Lisa on playgroups they can be found at home asleep with the cats or raiding the kitchen trash.
