As dog-friendly as Lake Tahoe is, surprisingly, many resorts, rentals and hotels do not allow dogs.   Before buying a time-share or leasing a property, please check their pet policies.  The three most comprehensive websites I've found with listings for pet friendly vacation homes in Truckee are VRBO , Craigslist, and VPM.
